The First Holes

It’s official, our brand new addition has acquired its first set of wall holes. There’s something about the new drywall factor that made it so hard to finally drill into it. But alas, our coats and bags needed somewhere to hang. Our entryway now looks a bit more filled out than it did before.

I removed our tree branch curtain rod and the curtains from above our bed. That thing was d-u-s-t-y. I won’t lie to you and tell you that I dust weekly because really, ain’t nobody got time for that. Okay, that’s not true. I could probably find time for dusting, but I don’t  – OKAY?! Anyway, that giant stick leaning against the wall in the above picture is the tree branch curtain rod.

I really don’t know if I’ll be putting it back up but I’m leaning more towards no. It just doesn’t fit in our “bedroom nook” with our king bed and off centered window. Speaking of decisions, things for our home are moving along fairly slowly. I like it that way. It helps decisions to be thought out and not as spur-of-the-moment as they used to be.

We still have decisions to make and things to do like find blinds, maybe hang curtains, find a desk solution, and put some art on the walls. I could literally talk for hours about these kind of decisions but I’ll spare you the reading material for today.

Do you waffle over decisions or are you a pretty confident decision maker? I betcha can’t guess which side of the coin I fall on.
