About

Hi, I’m Kimberly.

A daughter of God, wife, and stay at home mother saved by the Grace of Jesus Christ. We previously lived in a tiny home where my husband, Philip, and I slept in the living room to make room for our babies. I found ways to be creative with the little space and budget we had in order to make our house a home. During that time I began this blog to document our day-to-day. In the summer of 2016, as I was just coming out of the fog of postpartum depression, we moved to a larger home, my childhood home, and began the journey of turning it into our home. In order for it to fit our needs, we are in the process of renovating the space while raising our five children Elijah, Eliana, Isabelle, Philip (Pip), and Dennis, and taming our cat, Fran.

In between maintaining our home, mothering, homeschooling, and renovating, I spent my free time pursuing my creative passion, spoon carving. In 2017, right after becoming pregnant with our fifth baby, I started an Instagram page dedicated to woodworking and named it Wilder Provisions.

I am honored to have anyone read this little site of mine, where I write about the journey of turning a house into our home. At times, I honestly have no idea what I’m doing, but I’m glad to be along on this journey with you.
