Pain and Comfort

I had planned to share a kitchen printable with you all today but plans change and I just don’t feel it is right as my family and I mourn the loss of a wonderful uncle, father, grandfather, husband, son, brother, and friend.

Psalm 34:18
I don’t know what to say, because I don’t have words of my own to speak. Through this horrible, suffering time I know God is good, although Satan may and will attempt to sway me and others to believe otherwise. Let us hold on to the knowledge that a beloved family member is singing songs of praise to Jesus in person!
Even though we are here suffering, we are not left to suffer alone. Jesus said himself that those who mourn are blessed, for we will be comforted. (Matthew 5:4) The last thing on my mind today is how blessed we all are, because the loss of a loved one does not feel like a blessing. I don’t have the knowledge or the understanding how God blesses those who mourn, I only have faith that God will comfort all who turn to peace and comfort. Because of that, I pray we look up to our Savior for heavenly, Godly comfort.
