My husband and I tend to keep Valentine’s day low-key, which I personally prefer to a crowded restaurant – I’ve come to appreciate the simplicity and stillness of nights spent in. To carry out that motif of simplicity, I threw together this printable of the word “love” in binary for my computer proficient husband.
I think it would be fun to have framed all year around as a homage to the base-2 numeral system. If it gets to look too Valentine-y I can always replace the heart with the 0 that belongs in its place.
To download the PDF file, click here. It is a 5×7 print so it would make a great card with a hand written message inside a folded piece of cardstock.
And just for fun, an alternate title for this post would be “It Takes 10 To Love”. Apparently 10 means 2 in binary – clever, huh? – my valentine came up with that one.
So cute!
Thanks, Rebekah!!
What a neat idea! I'll have to share this with my readers. I think I have some 'techy' readers.
Very cool!
Thank you!
