An area rug can make or break a home’s design; and the right rug can drastically change the feeling of a room – trust me, I know. So when Kalaty contacted me about their handcrafted rugs, I was all ears. Their traditional, transitional, and contemporary hand made rugs come in a variety of sizes and can even be customized to a color of your choice.
You all know I love virtual window shopping, so I put together a mood board with one of Kalaty’s area rugs that caught my eye.

That Persian rug is what my rug dreams are made of – I love the pink and hints of blue-greens going on. It’d make a great statement in a moody library, or any room, really! Of course, even a library needs a little fun, so a flying flamingo on the wall couldn’t hurt. Add a hanging plant or two and you are set – hypothetically, of course.
