If you can gather anything about me by looking at my house, it is that I like white walls. White paint for every room is my go-to. So, when I spoke to my husband about painting our bathroom green, he was in disbelief. (See this post for before photos of the bathroom.)
Ever since moving in, I waffled on this decision to paint the bathroom green. I had two choices: play it safe and stick with white paint or move out of my comfort zone and go with dark green. Spoilers: I chose the latter.
Last week I took a poll on Instagram between a darker green and a lighter one, the majority voted for the darker which was my first choice as well. I have to be honest, it’s really dark (the color is North Woods by Behr). It’s also really pretty, and I love the color, but having it in the bathroom is still growing on me. In the end, I can see the potential but I would be lying if I said I didn’t slightly want the white back. (And yes, I wish I had a picture of the space to share with you, but I don’t. Keep an eye out on Instagram stories for one.)
