One Rug, Two Rooms

This is a sponsored campaign with Mums the Word Network and Kalaty Rug. All opinions are my own.

About one month ago I shared with you one of Kalaty’s area rugs and an imaginary modern library. I was, and still am, pretty enamored with the Persian-style rug I shared. So when Kalaty asked me to showcase their handmade rugs again, I scoured their site for another one to share with you; and although they have plenty of beautiful rugs, I kept coming back to this Khotan rug.

I can picture it virtually anywhere; a living room, library, dining room, or office. This time I’m pretending I have a bedroom to furnish – you know, a separate room with four walls and a door. Who says an adult can’t have the imagination of a child?

MODERN BEDROOM
I could get used to spending slow, lazy mornings in a bedroom like this. Similar to the modern library, the art plays with the beautiful pink tones from the rug. I may want to have that oil painting for myself, and don’t even get me started on that hanging rattan chair – you know I have a hard time saying no to chairs.
Remember, Kalaty Rug’s are handmade and mostly hand knotted. You can find them on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
Now tell me, what does your dream bedroom look like?
