Catapult Building + A Giveaway

This is a sponsored review with Mums the Word Network and Creator Box . All opinions are my own.

Last week was our first week of homeschool. After much anxiety about it being a complete disaster, it went surprisingly smooth. My son and I have both enjoyed it, which is such a relief.

One thing I am bad at planning are hands on projects that Elijah is actually interested in. We try to involve him and his siblings as much as possible in things around the house, but there’s not much about cooking and helping with yard work that really excites him (except the chickens, of course). So when Creator Box asked me to review one of their kits, I was all about it.

We received a kit to build a catapult. Elijah is pretty quick to pick things up on his own, so he barely needed my help. And by barely I mean, “Hey mom, can you pass me the glue?” For a child that needs a little bit more assistance though, it wouldn’t be hard at all to guide them along the process.

All of the instructions are simply laid out in a little booklet. I’m the type of person who’s mind spins 20 thousand cycles a minute when trying to coordinate a project (especially one that’s kid friendly) so it’s a nice to have something already planned out, that’s educational and fun.

Since I can’t hog all the fun stuff to myself, Creator Box has offered to give one kit away to a reader. I’m basically a giveaway junkie, so I’m excited to be hosting one for you all. Simply enter using the form below for a chance to win.

Also, as an added bonus I have some coupon codes to share.

5CB = $5 off first single box purchase
50Sub = 50% off first box in subscription purchase

Keep in mind these would make great gifts. Rumor has it there is a paper airplane launcher coming up next. How cool is that?! I’ll be glad to take that one off of the children’s hands.
