We’re gearing up for the busiest time of the year as we prepare for the holidays and upcoming birthdays. We’re also back to planning for our long awaited kitchen remodel. I am so excited to begin this process again and am hoping there’s no more huge hidden surprises like our slab leak lingering in the shadows.

Meanwhile, we are finishing up the construction of our shed are have been so close to the end for a little while. I’ll share more about the shed and the purpose for all of the waiting another time.

Now that my morning sickness is gone (most of the days), I’ve been creating a mental list of projects I want to complete before the new baby arrives and have been slowly working on those. It’s so hard for me to focus on little projects, things like organizing and cleaning, when there are huge projects on the horizon. I keep feeding into little lies that our home will be more orderly once we complete the kitchen remodel or paint the bedrooms. In a way it may help but there will always be clutter to conquer and dust the wipe away.

Overall I’m looking forward to this chaotic season we’re approaching (remind me of that when I’m in the thick of it, okay?) and am eager to share with you along the way. Make sure to keep updated on Instagram, where I share sneak peaks of what’s going on in my stories.
